The theme of RAMS is “Dawn to Dusk — Life Cycle Prescriptions.” In today’s highly competitive global environment, companies are continually challenged to improve reliability and, at the same time, shorten design cycles, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. One of the challenges facing organizations is to assure reliability throughout the product life cycle, from conception of an idea through planning, design, testing and warranting performance. Reliability, maintainability, safety and durability are critical to a product’s life cycle as reliability professionals look for ways to meet today’s challenges.
